Below is described how to find the LAN-IP address of your router.

A router is a network device that connects two or more subnetworks together and forwards packets of data between them. We can use router at  home  to share internet connection between two or more computers. But sometimes for some reasons we need to change the router’s settings. For example: if we want to connect another computer to our network.  This can be difficult job if we don’t know the IP address of our router.Fortunately there’s an easy way to find it.

In Windows go to START > Control panel > Network connections. Then right click on the icon for  connection you are using. From menu select Status. If  Status is grayed out, then maybe the device is not working correctly.
